The easiest number to read in a Roblox brand campaign is total visits.
But total visits are not enough. In the early launch window, the team needs to understand why players entered, how long they stayed, what they did to earn rewards, and whether they had a reason to return.
These are the metrics METAMATE checks first when operating a Roblox brand campaign.
1. Peak CCU
Peak concurrent users show whether the campaign created concentrated attention at a specific moment.
Two campaigns can have similar total visits, but very different CCU. Low CCU may mean players entered in scattered fragments. High CCU can indicate that an event, reward, creator push, or community moment brought players together.
2. Average session duration
For a brand game, session duration is not just time spent.
It shows whether players actually passed through the brand experience, dropped before the main loop, or left before reaching the reward. If many players leave after the first screen, high visits do not mean the campaign message was delivered.
3. Reward completion and velocity
If the campaign includes UGC items or badges, reward completion must be tracked.
If the reward is too easy, the game loses purpose. If it is too hard, players quit. Limited UGC rewards also create urgency, and claim velocity can show whether the reward structure is working.
4. Like ratio
On Roblox, like ratio is a fast signal for first impression and satisfaction.
Brand games are judged differently from ordinary games. If the experience feels like an ad, response drops. If it feels like a real game, response improves. Like ratio helps detect that difference quickly.
5. Return behavior
Not every brand campaign needs long-term retention.
But fandom IPs, education content, and reward-driven campaigns often need a return reason. Without one, the experience becomes closer to a one-time landing page than a Roblox game.
6. First drop-off point
Where players stop usually tells the team what to fix first.
The issue may be a long tutorial, unclear UI, confusing reward conditions, or map navigation. After launch, the first fix is often not a large new feature. It is the first point where players fail to continue.
Summary
A Roblox brand campaign should not be judged by visits alone.
CCU, session duration, reward completion, like ratio, return behavior, and first drop-off point reveal whether the experience actually worked. The important question is not only whether players entered, but what they remembered and what they did after entering.
